Hi to everyone. I have read many threads on the Magnavox Windsor console. I gather there were 3 configurations of speakers used.
1) one model had a Trusonic multi cell horn
2) a different model had a university horn speaker
3) a third model had 3 electrodynamic tweeters in an array above the woofer
I am interested for information on the 3rd model, the one with the 3 electrodynamic tweeter array. Was this a cost cutting measure by Magnavox, or did it give better sound reproduction. Also would anyone have information on the woofer used in this model. Was it a pm speaker? I know the unit had 4 x 6l6 output tubes, so it would pack a bit of volume. my thanks in advance. any pictures would be appreciated
