Hi All,
Looking at the RB Annis Han-D-Mag kit, I see that the magnetometer supplied with it is rated for 5 Gauss. Is that way beyond what you'd expect to see on heads/guides (talking about both cassette and R2R here) or is it roughly the limit of what would be on there before needing to demagnetise?
Asking because I've seen instructions on various web pages for knocking a gaussmeter (same thing, right?) together for next to nothing and would like to give it a go so I'd like to know what to rate the Hall Effect sensor they are composed of at.
Thanks!
