I'm trying to find my way through all Luxman models and shapes since the 70s and it's daunting to say the least.
Sometimes it seems the marketing dept used a monkey throwing darts at available model numbers.
Anyway, I've found that the integrated amps L-116A and L-430 sound very good and have a certain flow and smoothness that I like, but they lack a remote.
What I want to know, are there any power amps from these series that are similar? (I want to keep my current preamp.)
I noted for instance that the beefier L-120A (big brother of L-116A) seems to have power amp with the model number M-120A.
Would this power amp have the same circuit? (The corresponding preamp C-120A looks very different from the L-120A faceplate, though.)
I'd akso like to find a similar power amp that's in the L-430 (and other siblings), does anyone here have any suggestions?

Best thing to do is get the service manuals and compare schematics. I would get an m120 c120 before an l120. The L-4xx series does sound good but the builds are lesser quality. If you really want something nice the m2000 / c1010 is quite an upgrade
 
Easiest way to figure out some of the Luxman gear is to get the full line catalogs from hifhengine for the different years to see what separates and integrateds were made available at the same time. If you have joined HFE and can download they are in the catalogues section of the listings for Luxman in the library.

If you don't have access, you might try Hans' site with the dates of manufacture listing among others
