Marantz 1030

I recently picked up a Marantz 1030 integrated amp at a garage sale and it's cleaned up pretty nicely. However, I can't seem to get the volume control to behave even though I've hit it multiple times with the Caig Deoxit & ProGold. It works fine at high volume but it is difficult to turn the volume levels down.

Is there any hope for this control? If not, can anyone tell me where I can order a viable replacement?

They have lots of pots, many sizes and values to choose from.
Or you could go all out and buy a sealed Alps or Noble pot for about $40.
