Hello, this is my first post in forum. Recently i bought nice 1060. Have replaced capacitors, some of transistors, cleaned switches etc.
Have two problems (i think). When volume is at zero on both speakers (twitter) when i listen very close - i can hear little white noise. Dont know is it normal. My other amp 2225 (not recaper) makes some noise also.
Second - when volume completely to zero - on right speaker (twitter) i can hear some sound comming from player (this not the case on left speaker). If i connect 1060 preamp out to 2225 in, when 1060 volume is zero and 2225 to max, it is still the same so this is not poweramp board problem.
Today will try to connect new volume resistor and bypass all selectors and filters.
Any ideas where else to check?
