Puzzling.

Condition is everything.

It will most likely need a full overhaul to be reliable.

Ebay blows my mind on things like this. The 1060 is a fine piece of kit, but wow, that's some serious bread.

The wood case does look pretty clean on that one. Geez i have two 1060's. I need to get some cases for them!

Hmmm....maybe it's time to sell my 2252b.....

AK caused this.

We've had a collective hand in much of the uproar over vintage gear.

If I could get 900 for my fully restored and minty Sansui 9090db that Echowars made evil, it'd be gone in a flash.

With a good right up, pictures and documentation of what master technician EW performed, I don't see why you could not get $900.00 for it. But do you really want to let it go. :scratch2:

It's a beastly show stopper, to be certain. And with his love, it went from 125 wpc at .1 thd to 161 at .03 thd.

Nahh, I'll keep it.

Marantz prices in general have been doing nothing but going up .....

Its desirable gear.

Some people just have too much money. Does the 1060 sound better than any other similarly-powered integrated from that era?

My rather no-name (Sanyo) integrated could blow the wood case off that Marantz, yet I'd be lucky to sell it for a tenth of that insane price.

Look at the pictures, this Marantz 1060 looks spotless.

Seems like collectors in love with Marantz. Hard to beat Blue Lights and Gyro Wheel in receivers. Marantz is the king and prices on collectible-condition units go up.
