Marantz 1060 Wire Run Question

Hi, so the run is long. And sadly, so is the question:

I'm in an apartment. In one room, which is my office, I have a bunch of signals running into a Marantz 1060. This isn't necessary, but for context, those signals are: computer + two reel players run into a mixer that goes to Aux1, a vinyl into Phono, another tape player to Tape.

I have the main speaker output connected to two JBL e60s in the office, with 16awg speaker wire, that runs about 15 feet, which has been all fine and good.

But, I'd love to get some of these machines to play in the speakers in my living room, using the Remote output, wherein lies the problem.

In order to hide any speaker wire, I'd have to run about 60-65 feet of wire to get to my living room. My hope is to solder 1/4in jacks for each channel, connect those to a small mixer and send the signal to a pair of Yamaha HS7's (powered amps), a very short distance away. I'm doing this because there's at least one or two other signals here in the living room I'd also like to have running to the Yamahas.

So here's what I'm trying to answer (also sorry I have like no comprehension of basic electrical engineering):
  1. Is this even feasible / possible? The Marantz output is 30w/channel. I don't know if that power changes if I were to run the Speakers and Remote in parallel.
  2. If possible, what awg wire do I need for that run of 60-65 feet? I generally see 12 awg for that distance, though I'd prefer 14 for hole drilling purposes, but ...
  3. Does the awg matter as much if I'm not in fact powering the speakers via the amp? I understand I'll have a drop off in signal given distance v gauge, but will the signal drop be so substantial that I'm going to experience a problem in the living room? Like is 14 acceptable for this, maybe even 16?
  4. If this all does work, can I run the office and living room speakers in parallel? I could just test this out but figured I'd ask.

You would be surprised how far you can run speaker wire. I have run 18AWG through the yard for parties and it was fine.

To test it, connect a spool of cable if you can get to both ends.
