Marantz 1090 - fuse size required internally see pic

HI All,

Very new here and wondering if someone can help out, I bought a Marantz 1090, and it keeps blowing fuses in the position shown in pic and circled in red. What size are these suppose to be for a 240V in the 2 positions ??

Also if they keep blowing, any guidance on fault finding would be appreciated ...

disregard. Thought these were F701 and F702. Photo makes me think maybe not.

thanks, Steven, no they are not the speaker F701 / 702, got them sussed and are on the other board, these are at the back near the power supply

SM shows F801, F802 and F803 in parts list. But I only find F802 on the schematic. 801 is 3.5 A and 802/803 are 500mA.

which one is the 801 in my Pic that takes the 3.5A, there are no markings there?
So i can see which one is 802 on the board as below and has a fuse in it as 500mA


But which ones are these in the photo

Found them. They are off of opposite sides of the bridge rectifier - F802/803. 500mA. If they are blowing, something is up — bridge rectifier?

Sorry again. They are F803/804. 804 not on parts list. But I’ll bet both are 500mA. They don’t show up on the main schematic, but they are on the schematic on page 8 of the SM, toward the right, off of the bridge rectifier.

I put 2 500mA fuses in there, without any inputs or speakers connected, they blew instantly

I’m no expert, but I would check the bridge rectifier first. They are between the rectifier and the main caps, so prime suspects would be shorted rectifier or a short in a main cap.
