Marantz 1120 - buzz after hours of listening

The proof of the restoring is in the listening.

Hello,

First I want to thank you all for the valuable information that helped me get my 1120 restored. I did the tone board that included noisy transistors and the power supply board. This made a big difference because I was getting random pops that would turn on the protection circuit and turn off the amp. I didn't do the power board yet, but I have all the caps, not the transistors yet.

Now it is sounding great - with a caveat. After a while listening, a buzz (around or above 120hz) come off the speakers. Turning it off and on again makes it go away for another couple of hours and so it goes. Sometimes if I remove the rca cable from my DAC it also goes away but not always.

I know this may be a long shot... but if anyone saw this happening before and have any advice it will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

-Otavio
