Just to update, took it to get fixed, because I didn't want to do any more damage. Tech hooked it up and it works fine, no noise and in spec ..... what! So, I told him to play it to death and see what happens, ugh. Thanks for the help, will let you guys know what finally happens. Rich

Lol. In Dental school that was called bench curing. Got a crown or denture that doesn’t fit? Put it on the bench, come back later and hope it fits. You just bench cured that puppy.

So far, it is still at the techs and running fine, the interconnects on the boards (pins) may have been the problem since it did nothing here after I recapped PE01 and as soon as I took it in, everything works (except the power lamp, so something will get fixed at least)! When I get it back, I am going to clean the glue off the PS (did a quick recap to try to find the static) and recap the power amps and call it done. I was using this for the patio stereo and it powered my "flower planter" speakers much better than the 1060 currently in play. Thanks everyone, I'll let you know when I get it back.
