Hey Folks, working on recapping/transistoring/ a Main amp board on my 1152. I have a slight manual/actual discrepancy in one position and do not have the ecact replacement parts on hand. I am wondering if a substitution would be worth doing or is i should be patient and wait for some equivalent caps to get here.
The 4 caps in question that came out are 22uf/16V orange from the factory. The manual specs 10uf/16V, so that is what I have on hand.
The position is CT09,10,11, and 12. I do have some polar 10uf's I could install in parallel to hit 10uf, and i alos have some 22uf gold elna BP's that I think i got from Amazon, and are quite large, 100V. I used them in a speaker crossover and have them leftover. They could be fake, I don't know. I also could put in the 010's and or the 10's with a 2.2uf film.
These are my only solutions that I can think of and am only considering a substitute as i was making good progress.
Any thoughts out there? Thx!
There is a great copy of the manual here, it is zoomable, much better than these screenshots https://retronik.silicium.org/DOCUMENTS/Audiovideo/Marantz/Marantz-1152-DC-Service-Manual.pdf
