Marantz 115B: Lamp Replacement Method

Good Afternoon,

I have searched the archives of AK as well as the current forum, but cannot find a procedure as to how to get to the lamps for replacement on this tuner.

The Stereo Indicator is out and I have purchased the correct bi pin lamp for the job. However, after I removed the cover, it was not obvious on how to proceed. Through the front panel or behind the panel? Hence, the plea for assistance.

Looks like this has never been touched. It was stored in its box for 35 years, so I am a bit cautious.

Any help would be appreciated.

The lamps, both bi-pin and fuse-type are replaced from the back. The phenolic board with the bi-pins is held in place by some screws; you might have to undo some of the wire bundles to be able to move the panel out.
