Marantz 1300DC

I'm not sure this would have been a good deal or not. It does look a little rough around the edges. Either way, I missed it by a nose hair. Asking price was $500.00

Working examples fetch crazy money. No picture of the wood case. I don't think there is a metal case fitted so if the wood case is no good, that will be a problem. Anyways, I think I would have jumped on it at this price. IMO, the 1300DC is at the top of the wish list for Marantz collectors. It is for me.

Unless this was bought by a Marantz collector/lover, it will probably resurface at auction.
If the wood case is capable of being refinished nicely, this was a steal.
How often do these come up for sale ? Not very often, for sure.
This particular example was not mint by any stretch of the imagination but if it had gone to auction, it would have sold for far more than $500.

IMO, the 1300DC is at the top of the wish list for Marantz collectors.

+1
