Marantz 140+3200 or Mcintosh MA 6100?

Hi, i´m trying to upgrade my system, a Marantz 2226b receiver with a nice pair of JBL L100 Century. I found this two systems in very good shape and the price is almost the same, but Wich is the best souding? I mean, Wich will give me a real diference from the 2226b?
The speakers off course will be the JBL´s for a while...

With the JBL's? The warm sound of the MA6100 wins my vote.
