Marantz 170DC

I have a Marantz 170DC with a left channel problem. Turned on and not connected to a preamp I am reading 193mv on the left channel. on the right channel I am reading 15mv. I am using a fluke model 27 to measure with.

I am new and I posted that I had to replace the dual ps cap with 2. Doing that was a little tedious since I haven't picked up a solder iron in 30 years. It went fine and I have played the amp over 10 hours since I replaced the ps caps.

I decided to replace the left channel electrolytic caps with the list provided on AK. I replaced c722,c723,c708,c707,c718,c717, and c711. I didn't purchase the poly caps so they are original

I have not touched the balance pot. My trouble shooting skills are fading. I gave my tex 422 scope away and my signal gen. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards
Mike

Are you talking about the DC balance (also know as DC offset) adjustment in section 3.1 of the service manual? Does adjusting R719 not change the voltage?

I would do some more investigation before changing any components.
