marantz 2215b no FM stereo? help?

hiya oh wise guru's of all things vintage marantz.

searches didn't bring anything of use up.

i just recently acquired a marantz 2215b. the stereo light in FM doesnt come on, and it doesn't seem to have any channel separation. basically it sounds the same in stereo mode as in mono. this only affects the FM though, its fine using CD or LP.....

any ideas for an easy fix?

notice on your 2215b that there are two selection switches for fm, a mono selector and a stereo selector. Make sure to check that you are on stereo first of all. Then see if you can hear some imagining.
