Marantz 2215b questions

Just acquired a recapped, re-fused and generally restored unit. Sounds great.

Couple questions:
1) I’m using a cheap loop fm antenna which I suspect could be improved upon. Recommendations? And is it recommended to use the 75 rather than 300 ohm antenna input?

2) Thoughts on using the tape input as a second “aux” for iPhone or other sources? Is this potentially dangerous or ok?

Thx!

In no particular order, yes, you can use the tape input for a line level source with no issues,

As for your antenna question, an external antenna will improve your reception. Which ones will work well depend on your location, the stations location(s), the distance between you and them, and the terrain between you and them.

Oh, either the 75 or 300 ohm connections will work well. Just use the correct one for your antenna.
