Marantz 2215B

I was wondering through a thrift store yesterday and saw a box for a Marantz SR1000. I thought it deserved a second look and when I opened it up I found a pristine 2215B. Apparently somebody had bought an SR1000 and retired the 2215B in the box the SR1000 came in.

This receiver works great sounds wonderful, the only problem I've seen so far is the meter is dead, no indication at all and the meter bulb is burned out.

Guess I'll have to get a service manual for this set now. I found the operators manual for the SR1000 in the box, if anybody needs it for free PM me with your address.

I agree, the little Marantz receivers have a nice sound to them, and can sound surprisingly good for average or louder room volumes using, say, a pair of Dynaco A-10 speakers.

I like my 2215b very much. It works well with my Klipsch kg1's. I live in a small house too.
