Ideas? Both Speakers work in Stereo for both Aux and Phono, Stereo light is on. However, for FM left channel is out, Stereo light is on. Switch to Mono, both speakers on. Ideas on fix?

Try cleaning the mono switch and input select switch with Deoxit D5. Spray, work the control many times and repeat. If that doesn’t fix it, problem is probably on the P300 MPX Board or wiring from P300 to input select switch.

Thx, more info on issue. In FM stereo mode, if I use balance and set to left channel only, it is on, but very, very low. Thoughts? Aux, Phone all OK, coming in Stereo, both channel levels fine.

Pretty much the same. Could be input select or mono switch, or, more likely the P300 board or possibly alignment. Most Marantz receivers have an IC that does most of the work making separate channels out of the FM stereo signal. But the 2220 has discreet components. FM troubleshooting is not my strong point. Hopefully someone can give you some ideas about testing beyond cleaning the controls.

Look for a broken wire somewhere between J304 or J307 (one is left ch, other is right channel) and the mono switch I might also be on the P300 board somewhere.
The manual has a fair description of P300 operation.
The stereo lamp is controlled by H305 turning on and grounding the 'low' side of the lamp.

The DC voltages in paretheses () on the P300 schematic are what you should expect on a working unit with a STRONG STEREO STATION tuned in.
