hello all!
What does the group feel the value of a Marantz 2226B would be in good cosmetic condition but with one channel out? (Right channel). I have attached a photograph of the actual unit. Is this a quality unit as well? ( as far as marantz go, I know they were all pretty good). Thank you ahead of time for your opinions!

It's a nice low power Marantz.
Because it's in nice cosmetic condition(very important) and because I can easily repair any problem with it myself I would pay up to $200.
But if you can't fix it yourself then you will have to pay someone else and that changes things considerably.
Repair and cleaning will be at least another $100+ and therein lies the rub as value of a good working 2226B probably isn't more than $250-300.

A quick look at eBay completed sales of various condition units shows a half dozen with sold prices of $115 - 235 with one at $335.
