Marantz 2230 Capacitor hunt!

Hey guys I’m a noob here, I’m in the process of diagnosing and repairing a 2230 and I’ve ordered a bunch of caps but I can’t seem to find any to replace the main filter cap and the two coupling caps. I emailed Digikey and they’ve come up with two that may possibly work, I’ll attach pics, what do you guys think?

What exactly are your concerns regarding these caps? I see the ones chosen by DigiKey are 2200uf 63V and 4700uf 100V with no dimensions given.

I usually go with this guy. Makes it easy with high quality parts and good service. No affiliation. https://ebay.io/m/caESPV

I worked on a 2230 a few years ago that came with a rebuild kit from a reputable supplier. It used Nichicon KG series caps for the filter and coupling caps. Coupling caps C008,009 were LKG1K222MESCBK (2200uF/80V). These are EOL but show some stock remaining at Mouser. The filter cap was LKG1K472MESCBK (4700uF/80V) but showing as obsolete and restricted availability. There are several other threads on this subject here. Do a search and see what other alternatives folks have used.

Ok great info, does a the filter cap have to be audio grade?

No, that's not necessary. Any good quality cap with high ripple current rating (low ESR) is fine. Many here routinely bump up the capacitance value. This might help you find one with the same 40mm diameter so you can use the original clamp. Just don't go too high or you risk overloading the rectifier circuit on startup.
