Marantz 2230 transformer with open secondary

I have a 2230 with an open secondary. It is the pair going to the rectifier. There is power to the lights and the power supply. I'd like to fix rather than replace this transformer if possible.

I see that some (all?) 2230 transformers have a thermal fuse. But would that affect only a single secondary pair? Is the thermal fuse on the primary side of the transformer?

Thank you

not even high resistance ? that might indicate a simple bad connection . not much to lose to check where the wires solder on the other end to the enamelled wires .

My Fluke meter says "OL". But that's a good thought. When I pull it out I'll take a look. There is nothing to lose if the transformer cannot be recovered otherwise. It's a cosmetically clean transformer in a corrosion free untouched 2230.
