Marantz 2230B F802 fuse

I'm having a similar issue to that described here: http://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/marantz-no-lights.557250/#post-12217879

But mine is not simply a fuse out, as my F802 fuse keeps blowing. I'm using the properly rated 250v 2amp fast blow fuse.

My AC voltage J810/J809 is 8.4v. Is that too high? The thread posted above seems to suggest it's higher than it should be.

I just redid my lamps just before this happened. It was working fine for about 30 minutes before I lost my panel lights. Unit functions fully, just no lights as everything past the F802 fuse is not getting power.

Here are a few pic of my power board with the F802 fuse removed.



Here is my before (top) vs. after (bottom). The lamp and vellum replacement went smooth like I said until about 30 minutes later when I lost that fuse and it just kept blowing.

Oh, and the service manual can be found here. This is my 1st receiver repair. I'd describe myself as an "advanced beginner".

Perhaps a pinched wire that finally cut through after that short time?
