Marantz 2240 on off switch

Is there a preferred brand or config for a 2240 power switch. Ready to buy and my main concern is shaft length and fastener screw spacing...many on Ebay promise exact fit but many also do not look the same...I would like to get the same throw length and feel as the origial..and can anyone rebuild an original??

Check with Randy (AK member Runningdog) by PM or at irebuildmarantz.com. He is pretty knowledgeable about the switches for various models and may have the one you need.
 
Both mouser and digi key carry these switches new. IMO, it's not worth trying to repair a faulty power switch.

Two options on the screw spacing, 18mm or 20mm. Verify your spacing first. Some units have universal front plates that will accept both if I'm not mistaken.

Edit: dont forget to grab a new safety cap and 120ohm resistor that make up the RC across the switch. I think member dgwojo sells switches btw.
