Hello! I'm having some issues with a Marantz 2250. Specifically the H005/H006 (HV0000212). Broken lead on original part. I'm seeing more than a few fixes on the internet, but without confirmation, I'm worried I'll blow a output transistor.
Currently I have two 1N4007 diodes in series attached to the heatsink w/ thermal compound, but it's not quite doing the trick. I can get 8mV dc when it's not connected to a load, but when connected to trusted 8ohm speakers, the bias voltage jumps to over 200mV dc. Furthermore, when no load is connected, the volume knob can have an effect on the bias, not much, but it'll jump to over 20mV DC when turning the volume knob.
The other channels bias doesn't change at all when connected to a load, or when volume is adjusted without a load.
Anyone have a suggestion on what to try next? Thank you!
