Marantz 2250b Push Button Switch

I sent my Marantz 2250b in for service because the push button switch for the Hi Filter wouldn't push in.
Service guy stated he can't fix it.
I would like to ask where can I find this specific switch for the Hi Filter switch? Is it just a general push button type of switch that all 70's Marantz receivers use? Or is it a very specific type of push button switch for this Hi Filter button?

Where can I buy this type of switch ?

Not at all specific. Find a used part on eBay. Usually you'll have to buy a used board with switches and remove one with the right configuration. Just don't use a multipath switch as the locking function has been disabled.

The Hi Filter switch is a F2UEE, available from mouser.com and digikey.com for a few bucks. The entire switch can be replaced but it is a lot of work. Depending on why the switch won't go in, swapping the shaft from the new switch into the old switch may fix it. This is a relatively easy task.

Has the faceplate been taken off? I ask because there are grommets glued to the back of the faceplate where each switch is. If the grommet for the Hi Filter has come loose (and they do) then it could be preventing the switch from pressing.

I have found this many times. The grommet comes loose, and jams the switch. I have yet to come across a switch like this be jammed up on it's own, except when physically broken from abuse.
