Hi AK! I'm new here and just now getting into vinyl but man, am I ever hooked! My setup so far is a Realistic Lab-440 TT mated to a Marantz 2250B receiver with Marantz Model 7mkII speakers. The sound is fantastic for my purposes but I'm always looking for an improvement!
With that said, my 2250B really only has one cosmetic issue - the selector knob stalk is broken off, with probably 10mm of it sticking out of the knob itself and the rest of the stalk flush with the faceplate, more or less. This isn't a huge problem from a functionality standpoint, as I pretty much use it exclusively for phono right now, but I'd definitely like to get it fixed - it's too gorgeous a receiver to leave in bad cosmetic shape. Do you all think I can potentially fix what I have, and if not, will I need to get another switch and wire it in? (Very little experience with electronics so I'm reluctant to do that but I will if I need to). Thanks everyone!
