Marantz 2250B with 6 ohm speakers (ELAC debut B6). Could be no problem?

Happy new year from cold and snowy Warsaw.

I'm copying the same question that I posted on the speaker forum. Just to be sure

"Have a question (maybe basic). I have read many good comments about the ELAC's debut B6. They say they are fantastic for the price. The only thing is that they are 6 ohms and the Marantz (according to recommendations) should have 8 ohms speakers. Big deal?"

Any input here will be much appreciated.

The owner's manual states that it can be used with two pairs of 8 ohm speakers being powered simultaneously. This = 4 ohm load. The Elac speakers present a 6 ohm (nominal) load, and their actual impedance does not appear to drop much below this level in Stereophile measurements. So, the answer is yes, you can use your Marantz with these speakers with no worries.
