Marantz 2252b pairing with new Audiophile Turntable

Hi, this is my first post of many, I am sure. I have a Marantz 2252B receiver with Cambridge Acoustics Aeromax 6 and a Technics SL-1200 MD3 with an Ortofon 2M Blue cart. I am looking for a new TT to be my "prime" listening table and plan to keep the Technics for my basement setup.
So far I am looking at the Marantz TT15S1 but I want to make sure that my set up will allow the TT15S1 to shine; I would like to keep the receiver and speakers for a while. So the question is, Will I be getting the most out of the Marantz TT14S1 through my Marantz 2252B Receiver and Cambridge Audio Aeromax 6 Speakers? Any other turntable options I should consider?

Thanks!

Just make sure the cartridge is compatible with the tone-arm. The Marantz receiver should be fine with any "moving magnet" cartridge

The Marantz will be fine. Later on when your finances permit, you might want to try an external phono preamp. Good luck.

Thanks. The Marantz TT1S comes with a Clearaudio Virtuoso Ebony Cartrige (MM) so that should work.
Any recommendations for a solid-non-bank-breaking phono preamp?

malden is correct, but if you are curious, try the Lounge LCR III phono preamp. It's often a good thing to get to know the sound of your current equipment so you'll recognize the sonic differences a new piece of equipment is making.
