Marantz 2265B--what's it worth?

Could someone please suggest a good starting offer for a 2265B described as follows: "Cosmetically very good...tuner does not work...hum in both turntable inputs." I don't think it has a wood case either. I haven't seen it yet and need to decide whether it's worth the drive and trouble. Seller is asking $100 at this point. Thanks for any and all replies.

Really don't think $100 is out of line for a unit of that caliber in distress, just passed on one the other day at the local hawk shop in working order for $299......Cant advise on what could be wrong, a bit of a crap shoot if you are a novice and must pay for repairs........:scratch2:

Tuner issue could be the power supply. Hum in phono could be a cap or transistor on the phono board.

If you can repair it yourself and it's in very good condition, I think $100 is fair.
But if they are asking $100, I would offer $80.
