Hello AKers ! 
First of all, sorry for my poor English, i'm a french reader of this forum.
I have a problem with my beautiful Marantz 2285B, which has been completely recapped (except FM boards, main dual-core filter capacitors and the output transistors).
When I turn it on and after the relay kicks in, I hear a static noise in the left speaker. Then, this noise fades in 5 to 10 seconds.
The same channel on which the noise occurs has an output volume approximately 25% lower than the other channel...
After reading some threads here on AK, I noticed that if I connect an RCA from Pre-out L to Main-in R and Pre-out R to Main-in L, the noise goes to the other speaker, at the same time as the output volume issue.
