Marantz 2325 Dolby NR knob position?

I'm wonder where other 2325 users position their Dolby NR knob, and if there is a position it's preferred to be. I don't have a manual so I can't read up on this. Music sounds better with it in the play position but I then have to fiddle with the L and R Play Cal knobs above, depending on the recording and the source used, to adjust the listening level. Because I don't like fiddling all the time I usually leave the Dolby NR knob in the off position.

Normally it's left off as there are no Dolby NR FM broadcasts any more. The only time I might use it is when playing a Dolby B encoded cassette on my 5220 tape deck, although the deck itself has its own Dolby system, making the one on the 2325 virtually useless.
