I've found a Marantz 2325 locally within about an hour and a half drive of me. I managed to get the seller down to 900. The seller claims it's in great shape and besides the LED mod that he did himself he says it's stock and that he bought it from the original owner. Fair price? And would it be an upgrade over my marantz 2270?

Great! It seems like a good price to me, especially because of the cabinet. I'm running a pair of JBL l112 speakers with the marantz 2270. While maybe only a little bit of an upgrade, I think the added power of a 2325 might work better with the l112 speakers.
