Marantz 250 Advice

marqueemoon2

YAHTZEE
Pretty straight forward, I need some advice about selling a marantz 250. The thing is flawless...except for a faulty meter. I have spent roughly three hundred dollars so far restoring the amp. A meter for the 250 is being sold for 170 dollars on ebay. If I hope to sell this 250, would it be worth the added cost of the new, working meter?

If you look at the Sold Listings on ebay, some of them are definitely going for more than your sunk costs plus the meter. If its a really nice example (which it appears to be from your pictures,) you could probably turn a reasonable profit.

That is my thought. Honestly, there is also something appealing about fully restoring something.
