Marantz 250 R526 Bias trimmer pot replacement?

I am finally tackling a long overdue resurrection of an early revision 250 Amp (S/N 2491). I picked up some years ago from the auction site. It seemed to be in relatively unmolested shape other than some common failed devices.
The problem I am currently facing is R526 Bias Trimmer resistor on right side amp is cooked internally with exploded wire windings (see pic below). Looking for suggestions on a replacement 1K Ohm, 2 Watt Trimmer resistor.
Mouser only has 1Watt 1K Ohm Series 3345P that would need to have the legs modded to reach the 5mm leg spacing on the board. Was hoping someone has had luck replacing this trimmer in the past and could offer a better alternative?I have been through about every 250 thread and didn't see anything called out. Only 1 pic that showed someone used the Bornes 3345P.

I'll provide a write up of complete rebuild once finalized. I have already completed Left Amp, P/S-Protect & Meter boards.

Pic of burnt trimmer R526. Glad I opened it as part of my refurb project before testing.

I don't think it actually needs to carry 2W. You should be safe going down.
I seem to recall the trimmers getting a bit warm as they do carry some current, though I doubt it is 2w. I seem to recall using mouser P/N:
858-93PR2KLF without issue in a unit I had a while back, cant remember why I went 2k though.
