Marantz 27 Replacing Speaker Terminals Help

Hello! I am in dire need of some assistance.

I bought this old, functioning Marantz to try my hand at learning some restoration skills. Again, it was fully functional but could use some restoration. The spring-clip speaker terminals were a bit bust up, so I wanted to go ahead and try replacing them. I desoldered and took out the old one only to realize I never took a picture of where the wires hooked up. I pulled up the schematics, but they dont show any wire color-coding so Im still at a loss.


P.S. I also have no idea how to replace the busted antenna, its not a standarized part they seem to make anymore.

Hello, your title does not match your photos. In the photos, you show the AM/FM antenna terminals with hanging wires, but in the title you ask about "Speaker Terminals"???
They are on the opposite ends of the receiver. Do you need help on connecting the antenna terminals?


It looks like you removed more than just the antenna terminals. Did you remove the balun also?

As far as your antenna... it's only for AM so if you don't listen to AM, no problem... or connect an external AM antenna to the spring clips you messed up.
Looking at your photos, it looks like the open part of the barrel of the antenna just needs to be clipped back together (looks like a clip tab on the 2nd photo.
Then, you can remove the mount from the chassis by loosening the two screws and try to re-glue the mount to the antenna with some epoxy glue.

Apologies, yes- I was able to succesfully swap out the terminals on the left-hand side as the re-wiring was more straightforward. The antenna terminal on the right is where Im having the issue, as some of the wires were combined together and I am unsure the threading order. The photos you provided could give me a fighting chance at the resoldering if I took a best-guess approach. Provided here is a closer look at the wires and the terminal I am attempting to solder them too.
