I am from Denmark, and have recently bought a pair of Model 33 and Model 16 (80w) model.
I am a collector, and i value the gear and cultural history very highly.
Marantz Model 33 was never imported into denmark for sale, so this piece is 1 of the only 2 known to ever to be imported into denmark, this one originates from Italy, and the other was imported through what was to become the main distributor in Denmark (it was as gift to his son, I believe).
The Marantz model 33 is therefore very rare over here, and the one i have is working perfectly and completely original.
And this is my source of concern - it has some tantalum capacitors on the board, which i would like to replace with new tantalums, also the electrolytic capacitors (blue Axial philips) i want to change to new ones of the same spec.
I suspect some of the philips to be varying from their original electric specifications due to old age, so I want to do a recap, to make sure both the filtering functions and the voltages going to transistors are as they should be but again i want it to remain as true to the original as possible.
So i have been looking at Mouser, but have a hard time finding the exact values i need - in a perfect world i would like to replace a blue philips with again a blue philips (maybe go up one step in voltage to retain the same size) so that i could get a perfect working machine, that still looks as it should.
Can you guys help me in sourcing some of these things (Mouser is a preference).
These are the electrolytic capacitors i need:
10uF 16V
16uF 10V
100uF 6.4V
32uF 10V
470uF 40V
680uF 25V
my importance for the gear is in the following priority:
1. Health of the unit
2. Originality and look, inside and out
I am not interested in improving upon the unit, it needs to be a Marantz 33, and also it needs to look "right" inside and out.
