We recently had to put my grandmother in a nursing home, and are currently in the process of distributing her belongings to family members. One of these items is her Marantz 4270, which always worked well when it was at her house. However, a family member recently tried plugging it in at a different location, and observed the blue light turn on for a brief moment then quickly fade off. When trying to turn it on now nothing happens.
Where can we start with troubleshooting this? Are there any precautions that need to be taken when plugging in the power cord?
