Marantz 4300 No sound Front Left

Failed out of engineering, but look at me now!

Hey guys, so this is the same amplifer but a new issue arose...

I got both of the back channels working after giving PE01 a full rebuild, however now my front left preamp channel isn't working (yes I tested crossing wires). I know the amplifer channel is good.

My voltages on that channel in PE01 were reading about .2v high.

I noticed that when probing HE13s base I would get a nasty hiss (expected) but it also passed audio through louder or I could hear radio (when untouched it is extremely quiet).

Do I have a grounding issue there? I've tested all of my solder continuity and it all checked out so I'm a bit baffled...

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Maybe a pinched wire somewhere? It's easy to do with the tone boards in the 4300. Do you have a scope to follow the signal through the boards?

The solder pads for that daughter board (PD01) on the tone control board are easily damaged, might be worth a look.
