Tough luck @BeerLegs . I guess it goes both ways. Many of the scores I find out about, I find out about here...so it goes both ways. I have yet to actually land any of the scores on here, but it's fun to at least have a chance. I almost scored some Altec 19's for $150 thanks to these types of posts. On the flip side, it does suck when "the horde" finds out and now you've got lots of competition. It would be interesting to know where the guy who did get it found out about it...whether he is a fellow AK'er or not. I do suspect it big cities there are more scores available but also a lot more competition for them. Here where I live, there are hardly ever any scores, but if there is, almost no competition.

Hey don't try to blame me because you weren't able to get it,and why in the hell do you think the person that got it just happened to see my post.
If you are looking for someone to blame,blame the guy that was selling it, he's the one that didn't sell it to you for $100 like he said he would.
If my thread BROUGHT IT TO YOUR ATTENTION that it was for sale and you were able to pick it up it would be a different story wouldn't it.
Since you are going to bitch about it and try to make it look like it's my fault , i'm glad you didn't get it.
Doubt the buyer came from here. This was still a score at 300.00. Next time see if they are setup for PayPal. You could also have asked if someone tried to offer more to snake the deal from you if he would contact you first to at least match/beat offer. Better luck next time. Others who don't troll ak know a good deal when it appears on cl.

I know a few flippers around here who doesn't even know what AK is. They have apps that alert them when keywords show up, and one guy has his kid scrolling CL every few minutes while he's out and about, and his son dispatches him every time some Bose comes up for sale. Any silver face Marantz at $100 is going to attract attention....
