Marantz 4430 noisy left channel

Got a Marantz 4430 with a very noisy left channel.

I'm guessing driver transistors?

Anyone have experience with this?

Well I replaced all the 2sa640's on both amp boards.

Much quieter now.

Left is totally silent, right has a faint crackle,

when I switch to remote, I get the crackle in both speakers. Crackle on both channels match.

Found the culprit, a 2 sa763 on the tone amp board. I'll probably replace all the 2 sa763s on the board, they all have black legs.
