Marantz 5030B Cassette Rewind Issue

No, the stereo won’t break the crystal...Oh CRAP!
Just replaced the belts on my Marantz 5030B cassette desk. Rewind was originally working but somewhat weak, FF works fine but now RW doesn't seem to work (i.e. very weak). Plays beautifully. Any ideas of the possible issue?
