Hello, I am a newbie here and I need some help.I picked up a 6100 TT and it works well except it begins to skip/stick on the last song of the album, regardless of what album it is.I have the tone arm weight set at 1.75 and it holds that from the outside of the table to the inside of the table. I am beginning to think the small anti skating weight may be set at the wrong place. Question is what is the proper set up for that turntable? Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, I think that was all set up properly from what I could tell. Just odd it only does it on the last song of the album.

I'd experiment with the A S. Try increasing and decreasing it a little at a time, see if that helps. I would guess that reducing it might help.

Nine times out of ten when a tonearm translates to a certain spot and won't go past that spot without skipping, there is something binding on the bottom side of the tonearm mechanism. The fact that this is near the end of the record would make me want to check the autoshutoff or autoreturn mechanism. It sounds like something is not moving smoothly as the tonearm gets close to activating that system.

An easy way to test for tonearm binding is to "float" your arm at 0, so that it just hovers over the record (flip your stylus guard down if you have one, or remove stylus). Then very gently blow your tonearm through its range of travel, from begining of play through the end of the record. Does it hang up anywhere?
