Marantz 6100 Turntable - 60Hz Pulley

Hello folks!

It's my first time posting here in AK, after many, many years as a reader. :)

I recently acquired a beautiful Marantz 6100 Turntable in a near mint condition. The only problem of the unit is that the equipment has european specs (240V~, 50Hz) and here in Brazil we have 60Hz in the outlets, which means that the motor and consequently, the platter, spins waaaay faster than the 33rpm/45rpm. After a brief look into the TT's service manual (and also in a couple of forums), it seems that the fix to this problem would be to change the pulley from the original 50Hz to a 60Hz (part numbers 294926211 and 294926212, respectively).

Question 1: do any of the AK fellows have one of these 60Hz pulleys (or the whole 60Hz motor, with the pulley) to sell?

At this point, I'm trying to solve this issue in the most "canonical" way.

On the other hand, in the worst case scenario...

If I recall correctly from my engineering classes, to reduce the rpms of the larger pulley (platter in this case), I could either decrease the diameter of the smaller pulley (motor pulley in this case) or increase the diameter of the larger one.

Question 2: do any of the AK fellows have went through this adventure and could give me any leads/tips on how to perform these mods?

Thanks in advance!
Gabriel
