Marantz 6350 Power Button

I picked up a beautiful 6350 at auction. I opened the back and was amazed at the simplicity (especially compared to the Sony PS-x5 I've been struggling with lately - anyone need parts???). I cleaned what little grease there was and relubed all hinge points. It runs perfectly except for one little thing: I have to hold the power button down or it shuts off. It's tough to dance with one finger on the tt. Related is the auto function defeats the power button but if I start in manual then press the auto it keeps running.

Occam's Razor: it's usually the most obvious thing. The previous owner installed after market feet and the bolt was interfering with the mechanism. I drilled a new hole 1/2" inboard and I now have a perfectly functioning beautiful addition to my system.
