Hey All,
Any Marantz 7 owners out there experience any compliance issues with particular phono cables? I have a Jelco JAC-502 Din-RCA. The table is a Dr Feickert. This set up works without issue in my modern setup, however when it is set into the Marantz, I get a noisy connection that sounds like grounding issues. I have used the the 7's phono with an older Technics table which has a standard RCA/RCA hookup with out any problems. My thoughts are perhaps the DIN cable has something to do with it, or perhaps the shielding of these cables is cause of the problem. I'd love to hear from any who may have had similar experiences or may have insight to trouble shooting. thanks!
