Marantz 7t for $600 ?

Me likes the eargasm retroplasm...
600 seems to be market value for an unrestored Marantz 7t... I have an 8b and I wish i could afford the 7c.

I am currently using the preamp section of a Mcintosh Ma-6200.

Am I crazy for thinking about the 7t? Is there a "better" marantz choice than the 7t, but not as pricey as the 7c?

I'd probably consider a Sunnyvale Marantz like a 3600. Had one in a Phase 400/Dahlquist system in the mid 1970s.
 
I have a 3200 . I also have a 1150 integrated and a 1200 integrated that I could de-couple... I think I'll shine it on with the Mac for a while.
