Hey Marantz heads, whats up??? I'm currently running a Marantz CD-54 with my Marantz 2220B, and I must say this cd player has an amazing sound. I have run a couple other cd players with my receiver (90's era Pioneers) and they didn't produce sound anywhere near as good. Does anyone here have the Cd-54? My biggest fear is when the lazer fails what do I do, as the player is from the mid 80's? Any thoughts/opinions? Thanks in advance.
P.S- Its a heavy piece of equipment too, considering how small it is.
