Marantz CD 65 dark display

Hi,
I got a Marantz CD 65 CD Player that works just fine but sometimes the Display doesn't want to come on and just stays dark but the cd player plays well. After turning it on and off several times the display sometimes comes on and workjs perfectly. anyone any ideas, what might be wrong with my player? I have not been looking inside yet, but I got the exact same Model branded by Philips with the same Issue.
