Marantz CD player for vintage 2250B

Hi everybody!

Happy new year from cold and snowy Warsaw.

I'm looking for a new CD player to match with my vintage 2250B receiver. I was taking a look at the Marantz: 5005, 6005 and 6006 prices are from the cheapest 5005 to the more advanced 6006 (more or less 100 USD difference). Is there any significant difference between them considering that I will be using only the analog RCA's outputs?

I don't know how those models compare to each other, but, I have a 6004 that is currently connected to a 2265B, and it is a very nice sounding player.
I suspect any of those players, will sound great with the 2250B.
If it were me though, I would pay the extra and buy the 6006.
 
I don't own any of these players but it appears the 6006 is an updated 6005. If the 6005 is significantly cheaper, it might be a good value - but if the spread is only $100, and money isn't tight, I'd get the highest model I could.

The 6000 series adds a USB input to the front panel for playing files off a memory stick. Could be a handy feature.
 
I also have a 6004 and really like it. I would definitely go with the 6000 series over the 5000 series.
 
i have the 5004 and 6005 and like the 6005 better. the 5005 and the 6005 have the same DAC but the 6005 has a bigger power supply and a usb port
